The story “Macbeth” by William Shakespeare is included in the extended reading section the story shows us the destructive side of over ambition in life.
The story is made as simple as possible and if once the curiosity to read is aroused learning might read the text on their own.

Teacher ask one or two learners to narrate a story about any king and ask everyone to write three qualities of an ideal king , and makes some of them to read.

Today we are going to study a play named ‘Macbeth’ by William Shakespeare.
Teacher shows the picture of William Shakespeare. Teacher gives hints for profile writing on the blackboard and asks them to develop the hints.
Then teacher shows the developed profile on the chart.
Then teacher writes the name of the play and writer on the blackboard.

INFOTAINMENT ACTIVES IN LANGUAGE



INTRODUCTION
Teaching is a process. In the process the communication between the teacher and student takes place. Teacher tries to create a good or conductive environment in the class room. In order to fulfill this aim teacher takes the help of some materials in teaching or giving instruction. In teaching English, the teacher makes use of some materials relevant to the topic of discussion. Through these materials, the teacher tries to transmit the knowledge to the mind of the learners. These materials act as an acid to the teaching process . teacher can make his teaching effective by taking the help of these materials.



CARTOONS
A cartoon is a metaphorical, humorous and exaggerated caricature of a person or a situation, in the form of a picture or a sketch. By the humorous or satirical presentation, it attracts the attention of viewers. A cartoon like a poster is universal in appeal and conveys only one idea.
COMICS
A comic strip is a form of cartoon depicting a story in sequence. The events are arranged in the proper order in an attractive pictorial form that is normally appealing to lower age groups. This can be used for guided composition exercises.
STRATEGIES
A method comprises of the strategies or technique which operate in teaching according to Edward Anthony. “Strategy is implementation, that which actually takes place in a classroom. It is a particular trick, stratagem or contrivance used to achieve an immediate objective. Strategies must be consisting with the method and so in harmony with the approach”. Thus it is implementational.
DRAMATIZATION
Dramatization gives reality and concreteness to learning situations. It also gives opportunities for self expression. it can be successfully utilized for the learning of various subjects, especially languages. English dramas can be dramatized as part of the activities of a literary club. It gives new life to the dead facts deposited in the text book. Because of active environment of pupil dramatization help easy memorization of learning materials. Since emotional content is strong it helps in the development of interests, attitude4s and values.



MNEMONICS
Mnemonics is a learning technique that aids information retention it aims to translate information in to a form that the brain can retain better than its original form. Even the process of merely learning this conversation might already aid in the transfer of information to long term memory. Commonly encountered mnemonics are often used for lists and in auditory form, such as short poem, acronyms, or memorable phrase, but mnemonics can also be used for other types of information and in visual or kinesthetic forms.
Mnemonic system is special technique or strategies consciously used to improve memory; it helps employ information already stored in long- term memory to make memorization an easier task. “Memory Needs Every Method of Nurturing Its Capacity” is a mnemonic for how to spell mnemonic.

SKIT
Skit is a short satirical or comic story. Or performance included in a dramatic performance, especially as a variety show. It can also be defined as a humorous or satirical piece of writing.



PLAY WAY METHOD
It is a way of learning through play. It focuses on acquisition than learning of language. The basic principle is that children learn best when they learn with interest. The idea of play way in education was developed by cold wall.

Principle
·         The activities should be carried out through interesting activities.
·         Learning should take place in a relaxed atmosphere.

CONCLUSION
Any aid which facilities or encourages learning through the senses of hearing and sight. The aid or materials used I teaching creates interest in the mind of the learners towards the topic. It help student to make a bridge between idea and expression in the classroom. Students develop critical thinking and the power of independent judgment by looking at the materials. By making continuous practice and drill, the students can memories the teaching content easily language learning become easy with the help of these material.
